Michael Moriarty graduated from Stony Brook University with both a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary English Education, and a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. For thirteen years, he has been teaching in the Deer Park School District. In his first three years, he was the assistant director of the high school marching band. In 2004, he inherited the reins of the fall dramatics director and has been in that position ever since. He is also one of the Theater Arts teachers at Robert Frost Middle School, and director of the spring play. His directing credits include, The Curate Shakespeare: As You Like It, The Armored Dove, Fancy Meeting You Again, Wallflower, winner of the BACCA Best Drama Award of 2007, Father of the Bride, Stage Door, Heaven Can Wait, CSI: Neverland, I Remember Mama, and Stranded! Paul Failla is thrilled to be fulfilling a long standing dream of performing in his one-man show, The Class Of Life, which he wrote and produced. Paul considers himself most fortunate to be working with his very talented director and friend, Michael Moriarty, on this project.
